In the center stands a statue of Charles de Batz, better known as the Comte d'Artagnan--captain of the King's Musketeers that Alexandre Dumas made famous in his tale, "The 3 Musketeers." As you climb, you can rest at the three main platforms along the way, and take pictures in the landscaped gardens. • Beautiful together in the process of completion of restoration... when the pools will be in operation with plantations and lighting. .. .it will be magical.

  • The staircase is indeed monumental and deserves a visit. From the top the view of the Gers and the city is happy. The view of the Cathedral from the tray is also very beautiful. Work a little tarnished our visit but it takes well to beautify and preserve for such nuggets of our heritage.

  • If you pass in the Gers stop you in Auch and climb the monumental staircase, recently renovated with the most beautiful view of the city and the Cathedral.
