  • . Cute, charming, but not a great beach. Of course in some places it WOULD be a great beach. In Sussex in England, for example, or in the Costa del sol in Spain. But compared to the beaches further up the Mediterranean coast here in France, it's not a great beach. The sand is very coarse. Not actually shingle, more like fine gravel. So as you walk along the beach your get an instant pedicure because your skin is sandblasted off with every step. Free beauty treatment! Not very good for children to play sandcastles either. And you also get to dance too, as do many others here, because coming in and out of the water can be a bit painful due to all the pebbles there. Children are not happy. So not a great beach, yet it is nearly always crowded. .
  • Lovely beach with clear shallow waters.
  • The beach is very wide and gives a lot space even to play games. The sand is stoney as in the whole region and not as fine but nice to lay on. So it's a lovely sandy beach and great restaurants are there. The area is perfect for short or long holidays. Plenty of houses to rent along the beach area. Very near the Port and village of Argeles. Would highly recommend the area. Definitely worth seeing. ****
  • The sand is big, we like it or not. On the beach there is no walk in the water.

  • Good beach, with routes in the surrounding area, surrounded by mountains, quiet, and parking and restaurants
