  • Nearby of the D915, in the forest of Eawy, is the site of the Val Ygot which housed a launch base for V1 in 1944. It is one of the few places where you can realize what was such a historic site: access roads, storage shelters, adjustment and management of shooting and boat launch with its model of V1 have panels of specific information on the use of these terrible weapons of retaliation. A moving memorial tribute to the laborers who built and died victims of the nazis. Congratulations to the members of the association who maintain this historic site.

  • Interesting walk which introduces infrastructure and the V1 launch pad. Very interesting for lovers of stories.

  • Historic site showing a former base of the fearsome V1 release. In an acceptable state of preservation. Much is hard to find a place in this state of conservation in Europe. Highly recommended visit for lovers of the history of the SGM.

  • A lot of emotion... an amazement when one imagines the appalling scenes of bombings on England!
