  • This place is fascinating and the history of it's construction and the social history are fascinating. Sadly the place, other than the outside of the buildings, doesn't reflect this. The buildings are...  more »
  • To do, must see! Thank you Nicolas Ledoux! A successful example of industrial architecture of the 18th century. Buildings both beautiful and useful at the time. Disabled access. Chairs and benches in each building for the people of the third age.

  • VISIT: almost all of the buildings are being privatized: hotel, conference rooms, exhibitions... Only the inside of the building of the Director is to visit with its interior. Besides, sounds of the suitcases with wheels of the customers of the hotel PARKING: Yes and free audio guides: Yes but paying TOILETS: many, free the +: only outside buildings are MAGNIFICENT summary: go instead to the great Saltworks of Salins where you have an extra personal guide and you go into the bowels of Salins

  • A curious and strange subject for a museum, but definitely worth an hour or two. Tintin expo in the garden was wonderful.
  • Beautiful gardens and building. The hotel has amazing food they source from their gardens and nearby towns.
  • Interesting stories about the history of salt. The architecture is quite interesting, also the gardens. The Hergé exhibition is brilliant, if you like that sort of thing.
  • As a hotel you can't get a more stunning location.
  • Beautiful and so calm place. The views are so cool. I was here because of one concert of David Gilmour and was a fantastic experience in this place. I totally would like to visit the place but due to the concert it was closed, I just can apreciate the fields.
