  • Magnificent UNESCO classified set of buildings with interesting exhibitions.
  • Very well done exhibition but a lot to take in. Don't miss the room where pictures turn from day to night to day again. Gardens are also interesting. Sadly no cafe open in October, but a bar-restaurant is on the opposite corner.
  • Extremely well presented. Large site so need a couple of hours minimum. If your interested in history of salt production or archetecture well worth a visit. Being English I was not aware of Claude - Nicolas Ledoux, amazing man.
  • A great day out. Interesting gardens and a vision of architecture .
  • A unique architectural ensemble of some salt processing factory built by visionary architect in 17th century. Some visionary example of early stage of industrial revolution. Highly recommended.
