  • We visit the saline but however visit too short pretty place. Attention because the guide we explain the houses except the Director's House. Nice explanation on ledoux, but not at the scene of this salt. I recommend the saline baths that is worth trying.

  • The salt marshes are classified world heritage of Unesco, and immediately, we understand why so the buildings are beautiful. Try to get a guide for the visit. It will make a very interesting story on the Organization of labour, taxes as the Gabelle, and this great architect Mr. Ledoux, I admit was totally unknown to me. See also all the symbols.

  • The entrance of the Royal Saltworks immediately gives the topo: an architectural site is impressive by its size and its perfect symmetry. However, upon entering the buildings we were disappointed by the few vestiges of the past from the Saline (but we knew why after visiting the exhibition "Memories of the place"). There is an exhibition on the history of salt in the Director's House but we advise for people interested, follow the guided tour offered by the Saline or the proposed to the Grande Saline of Salins. We were impressed by the model of Claude-Nicolas Ledoux. A character in the rather avant-garde ideas see futuristic for its time! Hats off also to the "Salt Mines", of very beautiful exhibition portraits illustrating the work of salt on different continents. By contrast small note: tour would require a better display/signs whether it is the visit of the site but also exhibitions. Because having the visit of free and full, it has happened many times wrong room or search for the meaning of the visit.

  • The place itself is pretty nice and accessible by regional train, but I like it because of the concert that I attended there. But if you're in a surrounding city and you have free time on your hand, this place is worth the visit.
  • It is regrettable to pay the visit to be faced with a group of 200 people in full set of tracks and widely excited by this activity... in this place in fact imposing. Unable to access the various buildings invested by the participants and take advantage of the supposed tranquility of the place. The ride was sound but not only under the span of limes, temporary exhibition space. Why not privatize at such events? Profitability when you hold us...

  • The saline I had expected more me. Nevertheless, the visit was very interesting. I was not at all clear that here has been a factory. There is a detailed audio tour and on rich Castle Museum with changing exhibitions in the main building. In the outbuildings additional exhibitions by the Builder. Themed gardens are created behind the buildings that you can stroll. In Arc et Senate you can rent hotel rooms

  • Super skimpy and flower garden. Plenty of ideas to remake in his field. See especially the weather.
