  • For me the visit to local markets is a must! And this is a grace. It was the first experience in a French market and was blown away. The market is not very large, and can be traversed in minutes throughout your extension, but has a wide variety of fruits, sausages, cheeses, herbs, lavender in a clean and pleasant. I went around and I took 12:00 to prove cheeses and caponatas. Around has several restaurants and is very close (the path) of the Picasso Museum. I recommend a visit, if only to stop on the way to the Museum. It's open from 6:30 till 1:00 pm.

  • Along the provencal market is a shop of local products, and there is a wine bar in the basement. In fact, it is dedicated to absinthe, this drink which has been right by Van Gogh. Beautiful posters on this product and on "the missing" who replaced him when he was banned. One can enjoy absinthe on small round tables in a very pleasant and nicely decorated. Do so in addition to the simple stalls of vegetables and fruit from the market!

  • Works as a municipal market of any other city, but it's pretty tiny. Has a great coverage that should be very useful in the cold and rain to visit the shops. It is a well preserved historic building. Has small bistros, restaurants and souvenir shops.

  • Pretty average European market I'd say. Quite small. Mostly appealing to locals. One thing that was cool was they have a stand with a large assortment of different types of salt. Great for people who are into cooking. On the sides of the market there are a couple of good souvenir shops that I got some nice stuff at.
  • Quintessential French market. Produce looks very good and displayed as only the French can
  • Lots of local crafts on the day we visited. The town of Antibes itself is beautiful
  • Like your cheese and trimmings and you are in Antibes / surrounding area for a while ..... head here for the mix of local fresh produces and tasting too. It gets packed with people - locals and tourists - unfortunately the tourists just create foot traffic and blockages without actually buying A must stop for the foodsta
  • Little market but nice products. Frequented mostly by locals.
