  • We had decided to go on foot from the port Vauban, so a long path, but in the spring it was not too hot. There are close enough parking, but there are some mandatory walk to access the fort, a dirt road that climbs. But arriving, it is rewarded: very interesting guided tour: architecture, history, anecdotes and 360 ° view. The tour allows you to limit the participants, so it there's no crowd on the fort and enjoy this extremely well-preserved place. A very pleasant visit

  • Quaint downtown, the fortress is situated to the center of the city walls overlooking the sea, aa is worth a day trip if you are in the area.

  • Beautiful location with a splendid view. The fort is impressive by its presence and its architecture. The entrance fee is very reasonable. the guide has been with us at the top of the fort and... That's all! Not a Word, not an explanation. Fortunately the film and the ground floor panels helped us understand the history of this fort. We recommend this tour hoping that you fall on another guide

  • I took a rambling walk around the entire fort and along the sea. It was spectacular. After a bit of a hike I decided to go to the fort and took the tour which was only a few euros. Our tour guide spoke excellent English, despite her stating otherwise. There were only 2 other people on the tour and the guide explained everything very well. Shared lots of history and stories about the fort and the area. After enjoying the tour I hit the beach for a swim and then headed back to Nice via train. An awesome low key day trip, highly recommend!
  • Amazing place. You can see everything from here.
  • If you have time to kill in Antibes, the Fort is worth a visit. Guided Tour only, the guide speaks only French.
  • Great panoramic view of the port and the city of Antibes, includes a protected green area. Nice promenade along the beach.
  • Well worth a visit, very impressive fort
