  • I haven't visited the Interior of the Gallery, but I'm fascinated of the renovation of the building and the development of what has been done

  • The Museum exhibits the works of David d'Angers. The Abbey Toussaint built during the middle age has retained its walls, while the vaults collapsed after a fire have wisely replaced by glass architecture. The very successful busts are the opportunity also to review with a strong interest of the faces known at that time (artist, political journalist, adventurer...)

  • The Abbey Toussaint (thirteenth century) houses the works of the sculptor David d'Angers (1788-1856). This is the exhibition of models in plaster of monumental statues (Jean Bart, Fénelon, Gutenberg, Bichat, Amboise Paré, the pediment of the Pantheon of Paris,...) Many sculptured heads are exposed to the floor. All benefits from the lighting of the canopy replacing the ceiling of the Abbey destroyed. It is also interesting to visit the garden adjoining the Abbey Church and the Museum of Fine Arts.

  • Very nice gallery exhibiting works by the artist David Angevin d Angers. The statue of Jean Bart is monumental.

  • Very interesting and heads in bronze and marble, these are beautiful! I like the wall at marble to every continent and its history explained in art! Great! I apologize if I have any grammatical mistakes!
