Further construction in the thirteenth century added to the size of this castle. The castle served as a fortress because of its strategic location, overlooking the River Maine. Tourists coming to the castle can view the interiors that are tastefully decorated. Parisian tapestry belonging to ancient ages adorns the castle. The chapel inside the castle is also worth a visit. • Very interesting visit to the Castle, you learn a lot of things. Once on the towers, there is a magnificent view at 360 °! Took 2 hours to visit + the hanging. We had the guided tour of the tapestry of the Apocalypse with a very professional, passionate and not at all boring guide! A must see! (free for the - 25)
