  • I'm Angevin and I will regularly walk to the castle with my 5 year old son. He likes chivalry, climb in the tour and observe the horizon. We see all Angers. The castle is well preserved. In the garden to hide even a restaurant etsalon of tea, great on sunny days. The chapel still exposes a contemporary installation, and for my part I love hang out on the side of the hanging garden and herb garden.

  • We thought not having much to visit in this castle and we were pleasantly surprised! Apparently the first Sunday of each month we discovered visits free and fitted with a hearing aid, we have come to the gardens and buildings with great pleasure. We could not get on the ramparts to our great regret, because of weather conditions, but we enjoyed the discovery of the tapestry of the apocalypse (for lovers) with particularly interesting explanations of the famous hearing aid. Would go back again.

  • Beautiful medieval castle, with self-guided or guided. Beautiful enclosure medieval, even if inside the few buildings are of real interest. Temporary exhibitions. But in the end the Apocalypse tapestry is worth the visit. Huge œuvre in the 14th century, unique, she is truly exceptional! Interesting videos presented in the shop on its design and its restoration. His guided tour is a plus, it allows to better understand the "comic" story. One regret: his low light (imposed for his Cambridge) does not always have to distinguish details visible on the reproductions.
