  • Incredibly overpriced (10 E!) While this might be a neat tower, your money would be better spent in Amboise. I was able to get a picture over the fence, but that's all I needed. I'm sure the views were great but it was not worth it to me.
  • Pretty nice construction, but the price is much too high for what it is a visit. Even maintenance of the column leaves to be desired... And mostly everything suggests that there are remains of the Castle, but in fact there is no trace of it. We can do very pretty pictures of the pagoda from the outside (side parking), free of charge, so it does not classify this visit as a priority in the region.

  • Too high priced for what it offers, especially if it is compared with the extraordinary beauty of castles all around. Not recommended.

  • Too bad that there's just more the tower and a small Chinese garden to see what there was at the time. Especially when the castle of Amboise is € 11 and the pagoda at €10, we could expect more.

  • The Chanteloup pagoda is a singular Tower 44 m in height, located on the outskirts of Amboise. The visit begins with a long walk of just over 500 m between leafy trees. The walk has banks from time to time for those who can not walk that distance at once. At the end of the promenade of enters a garden full of the most diverse objects, most seem to greetings from old nursery with some other parts of Eastern appearance or origin. Then you will pass beside the artificial lake, on whose shores lies the torre-pagoda. It has six plants that climb a ladder which is becoming closer, as well as the building. In total there are 149 steps. Once again with our feet on the ground, you reach an area with old games, some that are familiar to the Spaniards, as the frog. I find the price of almost €10 a bit high for what little offers, apart from being an example of extravagance of a French Duke in the 18th century.
