  • Minichateaux is a real theme park of the castles of the Loire in the vicinity of the Royal Town of Amboise. The exhibition of Minichateaux exhibits a set of 41 castles to scale with a level of detail amazing, including a very faithful reproductions of the gardens (as with the castle of Chenonceau, Vilandry, etc.), or a reproduction of a large part of the town, as it is the case of the town of Loches. A tour of between an hour and half to two hours allows you to discover (or rediscover) the most important castles of the region. Exposure is interesting both for the camera at the ready adults as for children, featuring three specific attractions for them:-Mini-chevaux, mechanical horses on Rails that ride between castles. -Mini-bateaux, a Lake full of boats a scale governed with remote control. -Mini-Bugatti, a circuit on Rails that runs into a few precious convertible cars of time scale. The visit to Minichateaux is recommended both for those that approaching for the first time the region of Loire, for you want to contrast in the magnificent reproductions to scale all the nuances and details of the castles you already know. The campus has a large free parking outdoor. The proximity to Amboise allows you to combine the visit to Minichateaux on the same day that you visit Clos Lucé and the Royal Castle of Amboise (two stars over three) and the own village of Ambiose. As a negative point, the price seemed a little expensive compared to own castles of the Loire.

  • Everything is in the title: reproductions on a small scale of the castles of the Loire, in the idea, it's quite nice (especially for children, at least especially for children who already know well many castles in question), but the interview could be much better (especially given the high price of admission, we really expect better) not being in a full season (or was it because the weather is not perfect? we anyway had no explanation) on the subject) our children nor did enjoy the announced attractions which were closed when we came, leading to disappointments. The children enjoyed the inflatable, it's something, but it wasn't why we came here, and spend so much money for it, it's pretty annoying! Anyway, we went there once in the region, but we didn't want to take friends who visit us, because we really found this disappointing Park. No doubt that this park is a classic for tourists, so much the better for them, but in the current state of affairs, this isn't a place you want to come back. Especially considering the price really high entrance, that represents an output really expensive for a family, it's really disappointing. (I've seen other comments Park response indicating that renovations are underway: without doubt this is the case, but given the State of degradation of the models, it is proof that they have not been maintained properly as and when...) Furthermore, the visitors, who still pay the huge price of €14 for a ticket full price, are entitled to expect that the places are better maintained than that for this price. Or, why not to pay half-price as long as the necessary renovations have not done!)

  • The mini-chateaux Park is very interesting! This gives a good view of all of these castles which are the beauty of our heritage... following our visit we know what castles we want to visit! The Park lacks a bit of maintenance, damaged castles, weeds... Opportunities to borrow costumes from King and Queen for children...

  • Great concept, but overpriced for the quality. I think the 4starred reviews to be fake.
  • Boring
  • What happened in the Park? Chenonceau has failed in the vase, Azay le Rideau is reflected more in the water but in a bed of mud and dead grass, these wonders of the Loire deserve better than that! The models are beautiful but worn by time and elements and open spaces have not seen the hand of a gardener for a long time. And I pass on the records that do not work. A very disappointed.

  • I wanted to do for a long time. It is interesting to discover the castles of the Loire on a single site, but there is a lack of general maintenance of the Park which is course in 1:30. Some installation are dangerous for children (missing handrail, wooden board used by the time...) so nice to do if you have 1 hour free with children in Amboise. The price is a bit expensive. (€ 14 per adult, € 10.50 for children - in 2016)

  • A good place to start your visit to the castles of the Loire, miniature reproduction of all Chateaux with what you can get an idea of how they are and which see if you don't have it very clear. Now also has attractions for children: cars on Rails, horses on Rails, inflatable maze. So the more children will also be entertained
