  • We came here as part of a guided tour in the valley, we were taken thru the caves where Daniel explained the caves being carved, how the wine selection takes places, and we got to walk thru some of th...  more »
  • Very interesting tour of the cellars troglodytes Duhard - huge cellars located in old white limestone quarries (tufa) with detailed explanations of the impact of the Earth, the temperature and the choice for farming, winemaking and the conservation of the wines of Touraine and the Loire Valley. A tasting of 3 white wines including a Mont Louis on Loire 2015 (excellent) was scheduled at the end of guided tour of small pieces of different cheeses. Opportunities to purchase same very old wines and cheese.

  • We went to discover this cellar via a partner site and suddenly the price of the tour was reduced and fortunately, because if we had had to pay 72 for 4 people I l have had bad. Although the guide was friendly, we felt what he was passionate and his explanations were interesting but apart from see bottles lined up along the walls of the cellar, visit n has nothing original. We tasted 4 wines with small pieces of different cheeses, but no bread in order to go from a to l without palate the taste of the previous. Having visited other wineries we stayed on our hunger, the cellar boils down to 2 lanes and a small room where l we're back to level and then at the end of the second corridor wine to the tasting counter. The visit is over. Fro...

  • Our France Intense tour included a stop here. Daniel, the proprietor, is very entertaining and is absolutely passionate about his wine. We left his wonderful caves knowing much more about the wines of the Loire. Naturally, we bought a couple of lovely bottles - a 1976 and 1985 Chenin Blanc. The caves are wonderfully stocked. Get here for a tasting when in the Loire. Be prepared to enjoy yourself.
  • We took a Viator tour by France Intense and this was one of the stops for a wine & cheese pairing. Chaz (?) was our guide and he was very down to earth and funny. We have been on wine tours before that were a little snobby and more instructions on what we should be tasting than an experience. This was definitely an experience and we can't wait to open our bottles we brought home.
  • Very nice visit a typical cellar, tastings possible on-site, the owner is a passionate.
