  • Really disappointed and we felt swindled, € 9 to see 3-4 pieces in very bad condition, no food (at least not visible), a few furniture added and not at all in harmony, do nothing to change the gloomy atmosphere of the place. The pictures inside are banned but seen that there is nothing to do, no regrets. The garden is small but nice even if he still needs maintenance, and the garden was closed (currently abandoned). The north façade (renaissance style) is pretty but needs a good scrubbing and very different South façade (style eighteenth). Anyway, fans of castles, it's our biggest disappointment, but those visiting the area, to see the field of Villarceaux (really beautiful and free and more) and the castle of the Roche-Guyon (even if it is a bit soft, it's to see).

  • The Park is relaxing with its staircase of water for an afternoon of relaxation and calm. We have not visited the Castle.

  • I love this little castle of Vexin found huddled behind a church in a bend in the charming village of Ambleville. This lovely Castle has a beautiful renaissance north façade and an unexpected 18th front South of lovely Venetian balcony in wrought iron. The interior reveals three areas of interest: very nice furniture in ebony, a taut piece of leather and a very nice bathroom where magnificent tapestries from Flanders a freshness and a remarkable conservation status are exposed. These tapestries tell a renaissance pastoral novel titled the loves of Mace and abstract. Another copy of tapestry in the same topic exists at the Museum of St. Lo. Finally this tour ends with a beautiful set of three beautiful garden which a Italian very successful and very romantic. I'm going for several years and I measure the extent of the efforts made by the owners to maintain and enhance this very engaging set! Renovation work done recently on the Commons is very impressive! Bravo! Keep this work in progress!
