  • Having a family from the area, I had the opportunity to visit the mill a number of times, I could almost ' make me even visit! This site offers a trip in the past paper of the region, indeed, the region has according to the guide helped the paper that we know to spread in the West. So once the Crusaders returned from the East, the papers Mills was a major industry in the region. And we have one of the last. Strongly, visit the various rooms on the history of paper, between the area of arid life of the 19th century, the nest of WaSP to the ticket with the philligrane, everything is explained, without being heavy! The most impressive of the rest the workshop... huge wooden hammers visit crush tissue to turn them into mush that will be retrieved by the craftsman to finish sheet... I'll not tell either! Good visit, not to miss. (days of rain with children/teens recommended!)

  • I love museums and more specifically the living museums. For me the bottom Richard mill makes us live the old and hard business of paper or paper-maker. We discover all stages of manufacturing of paper in a warm atmosphere and with simple explanations but accurate data by the guide. I went there with friends but go with children: for them, it will be a discovery more important than Pokémon Go or other games on shelves. Do discover this magical place. I'll get on my side to promote. A glanois amazed by this beautiful mill.
