  • We arrived at Castle after a laaaargo but pleasant walk from Ambérieu. For a Madrid used to a forest of buildings, being surrounded by so much green really feel well. Once at the Castle, what is most striking is the well preserved one, because although it is not so say so much exposure, the building itself is worth. Is entered by a door that is in the courtyard, don't worry if it seems that it is closed only have to push a little more strong (which is always closed in times of visits XD) to us we happened to not be able to open we were about to return to us and do not see it on the inside but luckily the Lord who is at the front desk was attentive and we opened. He was very friendly and told us with maps and photos (a summary) history of the Castle, its owners and conflicts that have occurred in the region. Then already raisins to the visit itself. First to a tiny room in which are different models of the Castle and Tower, as well as some other documents and objects. Then you already upload by spiral staircases and you find yourself with a small exhibition room (when we visited it was exhibiting the works of a painter) and above already entered in chambers with things of the Castle. A walk along the coastal path in which you see the good views which had from there and arrive in a room having a techambre of precious wood that houses armor, a shield, an explanation of the history of war and turned to the stairs after another stretch of coastal path back to get to the stairs and to the store.

  • Very nice arriving in front of the Castle. We can enter the Court free of charge. The Castle being small, the tour is the same. It's still a place steeped in history, a treaty between the Kingdom of France and the Duchy of Savoy.

  • Beautiful castle, being restored by a local association quite difficult Attention of stroller or reduced mobility access

  • Little-known Castle but that deserves a visit. Both for the small museum on the different castles in the area, armor, etc. as for the view.

  • The castle is worth a visit for its historical and cultural side. A lot of beautiful ballads are to go around in a beautiful setting. Up to mount Luisandre it has a total view of the plain of the Ain thus overlooking the castle of the allymes.
