  • If you're in the area, a detour worth after Allouville to this rather strange sight. Two tiny chapels, which are incorporated in the root of this apparently more than 1000-year-old oak. One is on the ground floor, the other is via stairs that are outside at the root, to achieve. Should you have seen, I would not accept that but 100 km detour.

  • If you are traveling in a Normandie-journey from Rouen to Etretat, you should insert a brief stop here, in this pretty half-timbered village is the oldest oak tree in France, with 2 small, superimposed chapels in the trunk of the oak tree, the upper chapel is accessible, interesting and not crowded by a staircase.

  • A curiosity that you can take in a drive-by, but is not necessarily worth a detour. Not much is left of the still green oak and also that what gebliebenist, escapes through the staircase and the various support elements largely looks.

  • My parents and grandparents were born in this hamlet
