  • We go to the month of August, magnificent, but the Lake was dry, so the less pleasant relief, I must say that summer 2016 to terrible summer, Lake to see, but the meal to the poor refuge

  • We did the tour of the Allos Lake end of October. In autumn, the larches have taken their fall color and the peaks surrounding the Lake have already received their first fall of snow. That's all just beautiful. The Lake is accessible by car from the village of Allos by a small winding road. We cross a small and a larger parking lot, then after a passage between two concrete blocks, the road continues to the last parking lot. In summer, the parking is paid. In our case, it was more. Note that some stretches of the road do not easily allow cars to cross, so it is best not to go up to the Lake in the late afternoon at the time where everyone goes down. Since the last parking lot, the Lake is accessible in 45 minutes by a wide trail that goes in the forest of larches. Once at the Lake, it is possible to make the turn in about an hour. The trail is so narrow but relatively flat. In late October, the refuge of the Lake was closed but there are many places to stop and have a picnic. For good walkers, the climb from the parking lot to the neck of the encombrette (1 h 30) or up to the steps of the Lausson (2 h) offer superb views of the Lake and the valleys that surround it.

  • From the moment where one drives on the road from the village to the parking lot at the end of the path: it's beautiful! Once parked a 3/5 difficulty market awaits. 45 min. We met families with young children (who have the doors without a doubt being). The market is really worth the peek. To do and redo!
