Lac de Tolla is a man-made lake located 552 m (1,810 ft) above sea level. A dam built in 1958 created this artificial lake fed by the River Prunelli at Lake Vitalaca. You can enjoy the lake by renting a canoe, a kayak, or a paddleboat; swimming at the beach; or walking the path along the south shore of the lake.   • We drove up to Tolla from Ajaccio. It takes about an hour but the views are worth it. Because we are here in winter (February), nothing is open so we didn't do down to the lake, but just driving up th...  more »
