Thanks to the people who officiate in this library for their professionalism, their scholarship and their availability. Amazon can go to hell! Large selection of books on Aix, its region but on many other issues. Must go there and dawdle.

This is a wonderful bookstore that I found in the hazards of a walk in Aix in Provence. The staff is great and attentive and many books present protect you benevolent way of sometimes confusing world. A place sensitive as we like.

In a fairly busy street, this library seems to resist the temptation to more lucrative businesses. Good location and good advice. Unfortunately tourist often has little time to enjoy this written encyclopedia and... talking.

In September 2013, I returned to the Southern French city of Aix-en-Provence area, and found a nice little Bookstore. The owner is friendly, charming, warm and loving city of Aix-en-Provence. She sells books, postcards, some art and craft articles and eager to chat with her customers, for their help. I bought a few items, I am now, I went back to Paris, I highly recommend this store for anyone who was lucky enough to spend Provence Aix-en-Provence, this is a truly beautiful city, there is a time to cherish. This store is not far from the Holy Saint of Monaco's Cathedral of Aix-en-Provence "old city" part. It is called "Le BLASON". Address is 2 rue yake·de·laluoke. I hope that her store is worthy of success! Nancy m.

Where to stay in Aix-en-Provence

To explore the old town's shops, markets, and bookstores on foot, stay at one of the city's centrally located hotels. Just a short drive from this busy central area are a selection of luxurious villas, surrounded by formal gardens and private swimming pools. Though rather expensive, these elegant mansions provide a convenient base from which to explore the cultured area surrounding the city. For a cheaper alternative, look for private inns and B&Bs on the edge of town.
