  • Very friendly, excellent choice and good advice. Of cheeses, variety, reasonable prices. I went to compose a tray for a dinner with friends: a treat!

  • What a wonderful store this is to experience artisan cheese. Benoit, the owner, knows his cheeses. He instinctively knew which cheeses to recommend to us by our description of the type of cheeses we e...  more »
  • "" The place is convenient accessibility as the cheese factory is located on the street of Italy, a huge choice of cheese specialties for lovers: reblochon cheese, Morbier & Gouda sheep or cow scented or not, old or not, most: because I'm particularly going to butter "Bordier", (known as the treasure of St Malo) and the desserts of the same brand. Another point to take up there are the Chantilly House but only during the weekend. Other service bonus for rush (e) s: opportunity to deliver the specialties at home. Fun, fast & professional atmosphere at the appointment. In short a place not to be missed for the fine gastronomes of the city.

  • Great selection of cheese.Great quality.Great advice and service and even greater passion ! Big number of cheeses are prepared and aged in the place. Each time I'm there is a double plaisure: pleasure of buying delicious cheese and pleasure to be served by Benoit and his colleagues.More than just cheese vendors. One of the best boutique in Aix en Provence !
  • A good selection of cheese and knowledgeable staff. Actually, my first visit to any cheese shop was here. It was intimidating being in front of so much cheese but they put me at ease. The staff always puts together a nice spread for me. If you have to communicate something nuanced in English, it could be problematic but usually there is someone there who can talk about particular qualities of certain cheeses.
  • I am delighted to have found this wonderful little creamery in this town. The staff is friendly, the cheese is fresh and clean, and most importantly, the cheese was selected carefully because they clearly selected the tastiest cheese of of each brand. The prices are very fair for this high quality of cheese provided. I just wish they had a few more organic cheeses in the selection, for example organic Gruyeres or Tilsiter.
  • Formidable
  • Warm and detailed description of the cheeses and their origins! C is a real experience to discover this shop and his original story! I would definitely recommend!

Where to stay in Aix-en-Provence

To explore the old town's shops, markets, and bookstores on foot, stay at one of the city's centrally located hotels. Just a short drive from this busy central area are a selection of luxurious villas, surrounded by formal gardens and private swimming pools. Though rather expensive, these elegant mansions provide a convenient base from which to explore the cultured area surrounding the city. For a cheaper alternative, look for private inns and B&Bs on the edge of town.
