Very unpopular, just to have mispronounced the word "Macchiato", endless waiting to be served... a bad experience... the coffee is OK...

Nice terrasse Place Richelme. Various coffees from all over the world! Delicious hot cocoa, and in Summertime cold good quality sweet drinks. Homemade cookies.  more »

One of the rare places of character in the centre with his old machine roasting that smells irresistible, its vast choice of wines from around the world, macaroons, chocolates, a bar to enjoy and even of the WC contemporaries (!) For those who like the ease of the capsules, there are even mixing Italian, Caribbean, moka and deca for his machine!

I had an exceptionally good espresso here on market day. It was served with a high quality dark chocolate. I would definitely recommend this to any fellow coffee snob.

Mixed bag. Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. And a good place to have a coffee and people watch. But most of their roasted coffees are in open barrels, which is a big No-No. Coffee beans need to be stored in air-tight containers to avoid oxidation. Nevertheless, the coffee I chose, was one in the few closed containers and STILL tasted/smelled a bit bitter and old.

If you love coffee this is the place for you! They have several types of coffee beans and a good hot chocolate also. There is only seating outside which isn't great in the winter but that it.

Coffee and teas from all over the world, fresh roasted beans, beautiful area, clean, and smells like heaven

A fantastic selection of coffees. Everything, including the cold café frappé is excellent. I wish they had more food but I guess coffee is the only focus!

Where to stay in Aix-en-Provence

To explore the old town's shops, markets, and bookstores on foot, stay at one of the city's centrally located hotels. Just a short drive from this busy central area are a selection of luxurious villas, surrounded by formal gardens and private swimming pools. Though rather expensive, these elegant mansions provide a convenient base from which to explore the cultured area surrounding the city. For a cheaper alternative, look for private inns and B&Bs on the edge of town.
