  • Iturria boasts with a meal, and then walks in. It was on the doorstep of iturria. Look like a dignified stone is gorgeous in a chapel. So hot outside, but when you are on the brink I had.

  • EPLF, a small square which is the church-a fabulously beautiful Basque village, with old half-timbered white houses with red and green shutters. Quiet and picturesque place. Old church itself in Romanesque style Bell Tower was built later in 16-17 centuries, inside the whitewashed walls and wooden balconies side galleries and a small carved wooden altar.

  • In 1508, when his daughter drowned in the Nive, while she went to the nearby village of Larressore to attend mass, the Lord of the land, Martin of Uhalde, decided the construction of a chapel to honor and commemorate his memory. In 1510, the small medieval chapel was erected in the Church in perpetuity, then in the parish in 1512. She was completed in 1770, a porch added in front and a Bell Tower-pinion to a single arcade and unique Bell. On the porch, beautiful 17th century wooden Christ. Inside: around the nave, two levels of galleries carved wood; at the high altar, a baroque altarpiece of Louis XIV style, gold and coral, decorated at the top and in a niche, of a 16th century Pieta (notice that Mary, unlike the traditional Christian iconography, does not have Christ in her arms, but she tends the Palm of his hands, turned to the faithful as to accommodate); the altar supports a monumental tabernacle wooden Golden; small statuary; a few stained glass windows. Note that since 1998, every year in July, the Church hosts a classical music festival, "The Lady of the Alders" very good reputation. Admitted to the historical monument by Decree of April 18, 2014.
