  • A fascinating place! Very old, beautiful and quiet. As a souvenir one can buy a paper sheet with details for a small model of the cathedral 😍 Besides, there is a tranquil place nearby where one can sit by the river and enjoy the day.
  • One of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Finland. The history of the church is very interesting and the artistic aspect of the church is fascinating. The view of the church from other side of the river, by the old library, is very picturesque.
  • A very old cathedral of Helsinki capital of finland. It's an Evangelical Lutheran Cathedral & the seat of the Diocese of Helsinki. It used to be known as At Nicholas' Church till the independence in 1917.
  • Magnificent example for a over painted cathedral. The original wall paintings you can see here and there are exquisite
  • Why note a historic building? Look at my profile you will know that I don't appreciate this habit of writing everything down for nothing.
