  • A lot of things to see here, two old sailing ships, Sigyn and Suomen Joutsen, an old passenger ferry as well as some old military vessels. On top of that there's also an interesting museum. Well...  more »

  • A maritime museum with varied collection and exhibitions, including both military and merchant vessels. Entrance can be bought separately for the main exhibitions and the ships. Full entrance fee is valid for two days, and with a good reason - if really concentrating on the exhibits, one day is not enough. Still, one day is well enough to get a good overview of the museum, and concentrate on a good selection of the overall collection.
  • A must visit if you like maritime history. Great seeing the ship my dad served on during his military service.
  • Great insight looks into civil and war navy life. I loved to climbed through the corvette and mine layer. Only way to get better looks behind the scenes is to actually join the war yourself.
  • Great exhibition, many to do for children, possibility for lunch. Worth visiting! Close to harbour.
  • Pretty nice museum. Also great for kids. Not too expensive and there is a canteen that I unfortunately did not have time to visit. What I maybe missed was tags on all items. Some items had a lot of info, but some were basically unlabelled. Anyway I can recommend this museum for everyone.
