  • This was a beautiful find. We were walking back to the train station after having seen the river walk, and stumbled upon this gem of a church. If you are in Turku, it is a must see.
  • The stunning beauty of the red-brick temple, built with the neo-Gothic style, is located on a small hill close to the Centre and is the second most important after the Cathedral. Church with a Spire, with a height of 77 meters dominates the western part of the city of Turku. The Church was built in 1905 by the project of Professor Lars Čonka. The temple is made of red bricks, the roof is made from the Norwegian grey green slate, foundation stone steps made of natural stone, which was quarried near Turku. The altar, pulpit and window frames made from Finnish soapstone. The Temple holds about 1250 people. Opposite the main entrance there is a monument to marshal Mannerheim. All guests of Turku should definitely visit this church, is worth it.
