Your family can see Santa in action at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, a Christmas theme park inside cheerful underground taverns. See the elf show, visit santa's workshop, or follow your nose to the gingerbread bakery. The park features activities and entertainment for children, as well as adults who are young at heart. Get in the holiday spirit by taking a ride on Santa's sleigh or make your own crafty creation at the elf workshop. You can also participate in elf and calligraphy classes, among other activities. Stop by the cafe or buy Christmas gifts at the on-site shop. This is one of the most epic places I have visited on earth. Not only because I love everything Christmas, but because of the real feeling SantaPark provides of being in Santa's Cavern. My company... more »
Honestly, it is one of the main attractions from Rovaniemi and it was close at least until next summer. more »
The cave was fun but very much designed for families with young children. The ice cave and vodka shots were great. more »
Fantastic place! Sure there were a few queues for things but no worse than any theme park, maybe half an hour for the reindeer ride for example in mid December. The staff were all fantastic with us and the kids were the happiest I've ever seen them! It was an amazing, magical day
Great staff! They were very kind. Warm place to enjoy every moment. Each corner is magic with some elf proud to help you. We love it!
Loved this place!!! We went on Christmas eve, it was pretty packed but all the staff were super friendly and totally in character!! Santa was awesome, and you can take as many of your own pictures as you want (unlike in Santa village where they charge you 40 euros for 1 picture!!!) Definitely recommend getting there early during the busy season. Totally worth the money.
Magical in one word. It’s really big so you can send letters, buy presents, visit Santa (I was for real trembling, my inner child was screaming), play in the snow, go around the park with little sleds, rest in a cafe or eat at the restaurants which are good! It’s also free! If you want you can pay to go to the wolves or to the mini zoo but everything else is free :) it beautiful both with light and without and has got music all around! It’s really easy to go by bus and it takes just 20 mins from the city ! Perfect without kids and also with (I’ve seen many at the park happily riding on the sleds) 🥰
a beautiful place to visit, even without the children. Santa park is deep underground. no need for your coats when your inside, its lovely and warm. when you get to the entrance inside there is a big cloakroom for you to hang your coats up. There's plenty to do once inside from just looking around to making little trinkets and going under the arctic circle. There is even a small ice room where you can put on a warm overall & look at all the ice sculptures. when you feel cold you can ask for a little shot of hot chocolate :) The ice queen also makes an appearance walking around the small trinket shops near the ice room. There is a big dining hall where there is a small variety of food served. As live entertainment show is always on. they dance & perform whilst you eat which is nice. If you have children they can play in the large wooden built up play area too. Santa Claus is also there to see, speak to and have a photo with. The photo is not too expensive either which is a bonus. A great place to visit for all the family
