  • The surrounding landscape is beautiful, all white, features huts, reindeer ... Too bad it's too fake, designed for the sole purpose of earning anywhere you turn. By the way I perceived exploitation of reindeer and sled dogs (they say they are caged and freed when someone pays for putting yourself). In short

  • Finally today, after years and years that I nominate this elusive Santa Claus village in Lapland, I went there. And ... disappointment. I regret to have gone because I finished picture it. Let's say that reading the reviews I was not expecting anything more than what I saw. Santa nice paciocco sitting on his throne, would you not take a picture with him that he hasn't even made the effort to raise your arms from the Chair's armrest x hug or something do something? Of course not! Then after exactly 5 minutes after we parked the car I had already spent €25. Goes well let's move on ... the height of 300 m at extortionate prices for apotheosis by km pulled by poor reindeer, drunk from continuing to turn around the trees. Arctic Circle line if it wasn't for the small group of Japanese stop to photograph it manco saw him. Small shops and Santa Claus Office filled with cincaglierie but nice to turn and look around. But the piece with the shops in a long dreary corridor left me an anguish ... well I mean it seems ugly to say not to go there because it's still santa claus home the original but an hour or so and then walk. ...

  • Really magical place! We visited December 2017. Our 6 year old son had a blast here and we took him to the Snowman Park here the next day to sled and ice skate. Lots of places to shop and eat. The lights and decorations are really beautiful!
  • It's more for children but still in a way a tourist trap. Some souvenir shops and restaurants. "Ordinary" tourists might like it but really nothing special. The nature around is much more interesting, at least for people like me. Just had a tasty burger and a beer there while being on a bike trip.
  • My first meeting with the famous guy who visits during Christmas. I had fun and winter rode along with our little holiday sleigh :)
  • Picture perfect, as a scene from a fantasy. Being in the Arctic circle is a thrill! You can meet Santa Claus (who is of course adept in greeting you in your language), take a reindeer ride, send your loved ones postcards and messages from Santa and so on. The souvenirs and purchases are a tad expensive but a really unique experience.
  • Went to see Santa’s village in May and had an okay experience. The reindeers were closed and so were the huskies so that was quite disappointing. So it’s basically just an expensive meet and greet with Santa if you want to get photos. Santa was lovely though and so were the staff. However there isn’t much else to do when nothing is open except look in the various souvenir shops.
