Riisitunturi National Park is a national park in Posio, Finnish Lapland. It was established in 1982 and covers 77km2. The path that we have chosen, at the entrance of the Park, first brought us, on a 5 km loop, in a sparse forest, trees shaped by the wind. Amount, gently, stunning views of the lakes dotted with islands. At the top of a hill, the gaze is lost in the enormity of the Finnish forest. Diverse landscapes, thanks to (rare in Finland) terrain, with very pretty flower-rich marshes. Surprisingly, few mosquitoes, in mid-June..., unlike other places visited. Wind, altitude? Many excursion opportunities, through many paths that criss-cross the Park.show original
