Deep in the wilderness, atop Levi Mountain sits Levi Ski Resort, the largest ski resort in Finland. A winter wonderland for snow lovers, the site boasts 43 ski slopes, 27 lifts, and 200 km (124 mi) of cross-country trails north of the Arctic Circle. The resort offers classes for beginners of all ages, though it also has three black slopes for advanced skiers. You can also visit the Levi Ice Hotel and Ice Gallery nearby. A number of events are held here, including the Alpine World Cup Race. See Levi Ski Resort and all Levi has to offer by arranging your trip with our Levi holiday planning website.

We selected Levi due to the better lifts than double higher Ylläs. Levi keeps all the new lifts closed without a good reason. They claim weather but sun is shining and wind is moderate.

Simply stunning place to visit and spend time being active. Finished off the week with evening relaxing in the spa.

Awesome place. Very beautiful and loads to do and see. Magical experience and can't wait to go back.
Great staff, equipment and slopes. I'm only a beginner but even the people on the slope were nice and helpful. One mate even helped me up at one point, fantastic atmosphere.
In general nice possibility to go skiing/snowboarding. In november 2021 there have been 5 slopes open which is actually great as they use the snow from months ago. In my eyes there had only been 3 slopes open. And you have to pay to full ski pass price + 7 Euro plastic card fee, even though you can only use a small piece of the area. Not again!
A good mountain with lots of slopes, it even has 2km slope. I recommend using the levi ski app for more detailed information. When buying a ticket we didn't have to wait in queue. Prices are decent.
This is our 2nd time with the school and we had good experiences on both occasions. The reply to emails promptly and suggest appropriate training depending on your skills and abilities. Our 5yo refused to learn how to ski and they refunded the money on an exceptional basis as a goodwill gesture. The only thing I would recommend is that if you want to have one trainer through your time then you should let them know. We had 3 different trainers on 3 days (probably one of those is explicable as we shifted our training from the south slopes to front slopes). Having used both slopes I would strongly recommend using the south ones if you're an absolute beginner. The training area is bigger, away from the main slopes and a bit longer with multiple carpet lifts. That said you need to take a bus from the village to the south slopes, the first bus leaves only at 9:30 and if your class is at 10 then on the 1st day you'll be late as you'll need to pick up your rentals etc.
