Inghams Mini Husky Experience, Levi

3.5
#7 of 22 in Things to do in Levi
Hop on a sled and let a team of huskies pull you through snow fields at Inghams Mini Husky Experience. First you'll meet the dogs and get acquainted with the rules of starting, steering, and breaking with the sleds. After the introduction and a hot beverage by the fire, you'll enter the vast whiteness. Take charge of the dogs, cruising through forests and over frozen lakes. Choose from several types of rides of varying duration. Once the ride is over, you can warm up in a cottage with a snack of biscuit or sausage. The tour is suitable for both children and adults. Lapland's weather conditions can be extreme, so dress warmly. Where to stay in Levi

Finland's biggest ski resort, Levi features seasonal accommodation related to the outdoors with a surprising amount of activity given the city's location in Lapland. Outside of the snow sports industry, Levi is a small town, so you'll have easy access to most of the urban activity if you stay in one of the bigger hotels in the city center. This also puts you close to bars, clubs, and restaurants. Options include everything from mid-level chain hotels to sizeable, all-inclusive spas. Alternatively, rent a chalet or guesthouse in the surrounding hills to be closer to the area's natural setting.
