  • Fairytale forests with little lakes and ponds dotted amongst the rocky and ancient, treeroot-riddled hills. Trekking these forests requires some stamina, even if the distances aren't that long, due to the steep rises and the uneven grounds. Well worth a visit!
  • Nice place to go for long walks and camping. The routes, camp-fire sites and facilities are well maintained. Forests are unfortunately mainly secondary growth forests. However, the park has great views and scenic spots.
  • Amazing faces, great camping ground conveniently located, zero trash, clean bathrooms.
  • Fantastic place to see. Lot to do. By walk by bicykle ...just amazing
  • Repovesi is a beautiful National Park, reachable without car. We took the train to Kouvola and biked from there, which is a perfect 50km day trip. In Repovesi we camped at Määkijä, a quiet and remote campsite where it was only you and the nature. From there you can easily reach the famous suspension bridge and if you have a little bit more hiking experience you can even reach the climbing wall in Olhava during the same day. We did a 20km one day hike around almost the whole park, and god it was beautiful - even if it was very though! Also, a swim in the lake is never wrong. Only negative thing, is the lack of any Swedish guidance and the lack of trash bins anywhere near the park.
