  • I am not going to add much more to what they have said to other users who have been there, the views are spectacular, just in front is Sweden, Finland separanda by a Lake, in winter completely frosted on which various activities can be (snowmobiles etc...), also is Norway. With regard to my upload, say that what you describe is for winter, in other stations understand that it will be all easier. I got it in March, are 4 km, ranging from least to most difficult, and the last part, when the stairs are finished (or at least when they disappear through the snow), it is not so simple since you're uploading sinking boots pretty in soft snow, attached to that form plates of ice next to the rocks and out of them I recommend using crampons to climb it in winter, also eye to blizzards, there is sure to come up with good weather, a Blizzard there above will make it very badly. On the other hand, we must pay close attention in the pivots that indicate the way, since that may disappear with plenty of snow, in my case there was a stretch of about 200 meters where the pins were not because they were covered with snow. Approximately in half, there is a rest area, people who is not in shape, you can get fairly well up to that point, it also has good views. The temperature up as it stands is lower that skirt, so it should take that into account. That said, I think that it is mandatory to upload to the Saana, the views are spectacular.

  • Yes, the source of the at the top keep at least once in their lives. At first, we were wondering where to go the official route, but it found then tievarren next to the car park. It passes through the vaivaiskoivujen, surrounded by a path, which, unfortunately, was a time of moist in the middle. And the bugs were, omg! But when we reached the area, then smiled when treeless plateau. Long to make my way up the stairs and then. Between the end of the stairs we took own landscapes and lavetille huilaamaan and to look at Kilpisjärvi. This was still some way to go to the top, and it was then the kivisempää path. At the top was cold, about 5-6 degrees warm, but fortunately the tuulenut very much. Back to income was one of the play even though the start of the journey a little bit of a different route to the kulettiin, as the source of the haluttin to see the precipices. Stairs down to the running, not you, was a tire that had to skarpata with coordination.

  • More than once in the same affection and always one of the great Rafi. The entire route can also be done with a small child carrying a backpack. The Saanajärven route is well worth a visit.
