Imatra Waterfall, Imatra
(4.3/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
View the power of water at Imatra Waterfall, used for hydroelectricity since 1929. These rapids once were turned on year-round, but now they operate seasonally to harness the water's force. Though war and industrialization have worn away at the city and its attractions, the falls are still an impressive sight. • When draining off water have all idea of mountain village-muddy water with great speed rushes into the narrow gorge

  • Waterfall, if you can call it that, is the place and the event that come to see crowds of tourists. Interestingly enough, around the wonderful nature and hiking trails/tracks.
