  • You go round and round in one of those identikit portable wheels that have popped up all over the place. Nothing special really unless your are a wheel junkie.
  • Yes, riding the SkyWheel doesn't come cheap. But, hey, did any of you visit the London Eye recently? What you'll get is a great view of Helsinki at a reasonable price. Still a must-see in this city
  • You have a good view over the city of Helsinki. The the wheel is placed in the South Harbor near the Market place and the indoor Market hall.At the end of the South and the North Esplanade. Take your ...  more »

  • Fun,l. Doesn't take too long nor too short. Good view and is not too expensive.
  • Sorry to say it, but at €12 per adult, it is really not worth the ride. You only get 3 revolutions, and the view is not all that great. Because of the tinted windows, all photos come out blue. Curiously, there are 2 "special" pods - the sauna pod and Veuve Cliquot pod which both can be reserved for a hefty premium. Tip: For a longer lasting view of the city, head over to the top of the Torni Tower. Although a beer is €9, it will last longer!
  • Very nice view over Helsinki harbour. We paid 21€ (1 adult + 1 child) for 4 rounds and some short stops. The only thing that was a little bit disturbing were the blue window of the cabin....
  • Tourist trap that's really not worth the money. The wheel is only about 40k high. OK views of harbour. Senate Square and Cathedral. You get about 5 revolutions. Cabins are blue so photos will look a bit odd. Small coffee shop and souvenir shop on site. Small number of steps on wooden platform. Some steps marked but others not.
  • A little expensive for what you get. An OK experience for those who do not live in Helsinki, but don't expect great views. There is now a sauna cabin.
