  • We visited the museum again Luomus. It was already the third time. Public transport from the trams, and we will use every time I buy a day ticket. Museum of Natural History is located about 1km from t...  more »
  • Magnificent Museum to visit with a child of 5 years. Exposition made autumn wonder-pets not just faces, engage in mini-scenes from their lives. For example, the polar bear catches a seal, or a brown bear catches a fish, or a tiger hunts for deer, and much much more. At the entrance, visitors can take an audio guide, but we were unlucky and all audio guides were discharged, but the exposition and without them understandable and interesting. On the top floor hosted a special place where you can comfortably eat brought with them food, so recommend to take juice, cookies or any other snack-saves money going for food in not cheap Helsinki.

  • The fusty stuffed animals are out and the place has all new look including huge dinosaur and white shark skeletons. Well done.
  • The part about the finnish wildlife is interesting. The anorther things are common.
  • Great audio tours, comprehensive exposition and enough touch and try points to keep kids exploring and focused.
  • A well maintained natural history museum. Most of the written boards and articles are in Finnish. But you can get a English broucher to read.
  • Kids love this place! It takes easily half a day to walk around the exhibitions. Really enjoying the dioramas.
