  • Most important for me is the overview of the turbulent Finnish history. But you can spend hours there trying to see as much as possible in all the interesting rooms.  more »
  • A good interesting afternoon spent enjoying the exhibits - history, design and contemporary jostle for attention. Enjoyable for all ages.  more »
  • The National Museum is already a real eye-catcher, but also inside very lovingly designed. I felt very, very good in the premises. The exhibits are varied and interesting. I had earmarked for the Museum only half a day, but find that you can certainly schedule a whole day, if it really is a fan and want to see everything. I felt "like home". A very friendly and familiar atmosphere. Photos were allowed to be made by the way what I found very friendly!

  • Great place to connect kids with history. Interactive children's area upstairs talks to all age groups and is just great.
  • Wonderful museum where you can see the story of Finland, it should be free on some days (first Friday of the month ?)
  • Small and boring. Staff was helpful and polite. Building it self was nice. I hoped to see something more interesting and beautiful.
  • Just a collection of historic objects! Not to much storytelling. Needed to go on Wikipedia to find out more about the Finish history
  • Quite an extensive collection, with many items.
