  • Wonderful! You won’t be disappointed. A Finnish friend suggested we go there. A guide took the three of us around. Her English was impeccable and the tour a real insight into life of times past.  more »

  • This is a really great free museum! They give guided tours in English and Finnish of the different apartments set up as they were or would have been from various decades in the 1900s. It was really neat to see. The guide was very knowledge and able to answer our questions.
  • Great little free museum. Easily accessible from the 3 tram line. Really interesting to find out how ordinary Finnish people lived.
  • Nice place. Small. Quite a nice place, small though.

  • Nice place to depart when visiting Helsinki. Nicely restored and telling about the families and their stages of life in the apartments. The apartments are furnished showing different decades of typical décor styles from the early 1900 to 1985. The tutorial is a professional and colourful guide to the history of the different eras. The guided tour takes place in a nonstopsome corner of the apartment at a time and ends in a small shop where you can get a souvenir to choose from. I was grabbed by the small, close-game dimensions.
