  • Although it is not an idea of the great halls and the beautiful decorations, it is a peaceful feeling. The people who found this, the motion is self-discipline, or perhaps the whole nation's shrinking.

  • This very beautiful building is good in the row along this part of the Esplanada. Presidential Palace, City Hall and Swedish Embassy. Three beautiful and stately buildings with the face on the port.

  • The Municipal house is open for public; with great information and brochures about the city and services, also good exhibitions happens there as well. Public (clean) toilets are available (free of charge). Good to remember that you always can go there to refill your bottle of fresh tap water. Finland's tap water ranks among the best in the world!
  • "perfectionism line" "air line" in st petersburg russia make please
  • The Bonk Industries exhibition was out of this world. Make sure to google Bonk Industries as you leave, with their free wifi. Best art exhibition I've ever seen by so much. Descriptions are the best.
  • Attended a nice function here. And per Martin Lunn's review have added some Bonk pictures!
  • Pretty eye-catching building which houses the mayor's office.

Where to stay in Helsinki

Set yourself up with easy access to many of Helsinki's most popular tourist sites by staying in the city's bustling and modern center. You'll find that the area is packed full of shops, restaurants, and bars, plus it's conveniently close to both the city's main train station and energetic waterfront. Though there's certainly a range of options when it comes to big-name hotel chains and upscale accommodation, prices are generally higher throughout most of the center, so consider staying at a hostel to cut down on costs. Hostels typically offer a solid location in or near the city center at a fraction of the cost of a big chain.
