  • I like a lot Hartwall Arena and its Jokerit hockey games. I also have been for some rock concerts here and like it alot. Everything works, queues are never too bad. Only some prices of foods and drink...  more »

  • I am giving this arena only 1 star, because the area outside of the arena itself, where the fast food restaurants and rest rooms are, are impossibly overcrowded. Just trying to move around is like gridlock. Very long lines for what little fast food is available, and really long lines for the rest rooms. And the arena specifies it doesn't want people to bring in their own food and water! Also, getting to the arena once off the train, is a long slog, so if you have an all day event, you probably aren't going to want to go back to the city to get lunch.
  • Saw Hans Zimmer here. The arena can hold supposedly 12000 people. Fantastic place for concerts etc.
  • Went to see a concert, the acoustics were good and the food selection is alright. There could be more restrooms.
  • Great place, lots of snacks places, I was happy to feel the air conditioning inside, organization is good except the walk out lots of people.
  • Big arena with all the necessary things. It's easy to go there with or without car and everything is working. The food stands have rip-off prices but I think that it's normal for a place like this.

Where to stay in Helsinki

Set yourself up with easy access to many of Helsinki's most popular tourist sites by staying in the city's bustling and modern center. You'll find that the area is packed full of shops, restaurants, and bars, plus it's conveniently close to both the city's main train station and energetic waterfront. Though there's certainly a range of options when it comes to big-name hotel chains and upscale accommodation, prices are generally higher throughout most of the center, so consider staying at a hostel to cut down on costs. Hostels typically offer a solid location in or near the city center at a fraction of the cost of a big chain.
