  • Small two-storey market where the locals go to for their daily produce and more. There's a Marimekko shop too on the second floor, which also has other bric-a-brac and craft stores.
  • Morning 8 a.m. opening, but most closed only in some stores. There are so many cute grocery store, buy a souvenir? Cute hand-made from birch bark accessories shop.

  • Want to buy fresh local food? You can buy meat or fish from there and cook them. Products are really fresh and local law will watch out that dealers can not cheat. We buy almost all our meat from there because its always fresh and usuallu cheaper than in local food markets. Maybe one of the best fresh foor markets in Finland.
  • My favorite market here. Very nice local market. You can find many amazing things here. I love 2nd floor.
  • Personally I would say that this is my favorite market hall in Helsinki. Recommended as the "more authentic" hall where the locals tend to visit as it is out of view from the Market Square (filled with tourists). Operating consistently for years and years. Don't forget to visit the Flying Cow for the best cheese in the city. They really know their cheeses!
  • The place to go for local delicacies, fish and whatnot. Prepare to pay a premium price, but expect a superior quality and friendly and personal service. Great place for browsing and walking around. Upstairs sell some Finnish design and other non-food things.
  • If you are looking for bakeries, meat and fish products without synthetic packaging in addition to spices and prepared food then this is the right place.
