Forum Shopping Center, Helsinki
(3.6/5 based on 90 reviews on the web)
Forum is a shopping centre in Helsinki, Finland, opened in 1985 and located between the streets of Mannerheimintie, Simonkatu, Yrjönkatu and Kalevankatu. The original Forum building is located in the corner of Mannerheimintie and Simonkatu. The shopping centre has been constantly expanded to also fill other buildings in the city block. The shopping centre includes an underground parking lot, with connections to the nearby surroundings, including to Stockmann. As well as numerous businesses, the Forum city block includes the privately owned Amos Anderson art museum and the Forum medical and dental health centre.Forum is the only privately owned shopping centre in the Finnish capital area. Bilinguality is emphasised in the shopping centre, because it is owned by Finland-Swedish organisations, most notably Föreningen Konstsamfundet, which was founded in 1940 by Amos Anderson. The organisation supports Finland-Swedish culture and publications, and deals out grants, which amount up to 3 million euro per year. This is financed by the rent from the Forum shopping centre building.

  • In the Centre of Helsinki a mall not large but adequate. Offers various dining places, cafes, clothing stores not high class brands.

  • The Moomin Shop was the real reason we came to the Forum shopping centre. Lots of other clothing shops here. It was nice and warm on a cold day.
  • Basic shopping centre. No specials. I missed a little bit of specialties, particularly for teenagers and boys. Sports shops I also miss. Intersport is not the time yet to finish. Vans operating Good might be got to be a little bigger.

  • Centrally located shopping center with an excellent variety of stores, among which Victoria's secret, Gigantti and K-Rauta express. Connected by underground tunnels to the main train station and Kamppi shopping and bus-metro station. Excellent selection at the food court, bars and cafes and restaurants, almost on every floor.
  • Nice renovations done these last years, definitely one of the best malls in town. Also has lots of underground connections if the weather is bad.
  • Big, recently partly renovated mall in the heart of the city. Numerous shops. (Clothes, electronics, sports stuff etc.) some fast food restaurants at the entry floor and couple of alacartes on the roof level.
  • Yet another great shopping mall. Has everything from cloth to electronics.
  • A big mall, located in the heart of helsinki. Multiple quality stores for clothing, and restaurants ranging from middle eastern food to Mac donald's. The lowest floor is conpletely dedicated to the largest electronics store in town, which I as a tech enthusiastic enjoy a lot.
