Didrichsen Art Museum, Helsinki
(4.4/5 based on 25+ reviews on the web)
Art, architecture, and nature come together at Didrichsen Art Museum, home to "everything beautiful," as the founders stated upon its opening in 1965. Designed in the Modernist style by architect Viljo Revell, the museum buildings follow the contours of the landscape and sit surrounded by verdant trees. Outside, you can enjoy the sculpture park, filled with works by Henry Moore, Mario Negri, and Bernard Meadows. Inside, discover changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary Finnish and international art as well as cultural-historic exhibitions. The museum also contains some pre-Columbian art from Central and South America. • Didrichsenillä is a beautiful setting, a handsome bourgeois House by the sea on. Already in place is well worth a visit. In addition, there is a good art exhibitions a little out of the ordinary with another time: Mexico, Central America, Russia, the Soviet Union, the cultural achievements of the past...). Rarely crowded.

  • This is a glory place right through. The building, the garden, the artifacts, the scenery, everything is delicious. Fine paintings, even finer precolombianske discoveries, they are quite unique. Must see.

  • Small but nice. Free parking, ok public transport connections.
  • Always a pleasure visiting Didrichsen's! 👍
  • The Munch exhibit was magnificent. On the last day there was a line that extended for a half a kilometer. The works were beautifully displayed and the theme "The dance of life" was perfect. ' Thank you for a wonderful exhibit...
  • Nice location. The Munch collection was a bit small and disappointing.
  • Good tutorial and interesting temporary exhibitions.
