Olen useamman kerran kirjoittanut, jos olet kiinnostunut historian havinasta, uskonnollisista kohteista ja hieman valtaväestä poikkeavasta toiminnasta. Silloin tämäkin on valinnan arvoinen paikka! Vie... read more »I have more than once wrote, if you are interested in the history of the havinasta, religious items, and a little bit of power to share with a different activity. Then again, this is a worth place to be! Visit us, check out the place with an open hand. I have visited more than once, a little bit of a change in the direction of the place has become more commercial. The monastery is probably due to the continuation of the operation of the force.show original
Ci era stato indicato come luogo di grande spiritualità e di grande importanza per la chiesa ortodossa. Sicuramente è così, il monastero avrà una grande valenza per i credenti ortodossi finlandesi, ma... read more »We had been designated as a place of great spirituality and of great importance for the Orthodox Church. Surely so, the monastery will have a great meaning for the Finnish Orthodox believers, but we made it hard to appreciate its importance. There are two churches, the old one and the new one that have no artistic or architectural aspects that are particularly relevant. There are also a few guest house, a restaurant and little else. Add also that the day was rainy and the place pretty much desert ... Let's say that for us Italians, accustomed to very different churches even in the smallest villages, or for those who have visited Sergiev Posad in Russia, just to make a comparison with other Orthodox churches, the comparison is unfortunately ruthless (always speak of a spiritual/religious/artistic and architectural comparison does not). I recommend it only to those of Orthodox faith, or particularly interested in the subject.show original

Good things to do and wine to buy too.
Ulla VuolleThe last time I visited in the 1980s. The change is really huge. By harmoniously and arkitehtonisesti the beautiful buildings, which also agreed to the spirit of the Orthodox monastery, the splendid furniture followed the same line. And those beautiful well-kept garden areas and with great old trees and pihtakujat (?), especially in the cemetery! The surface of the sipaisulla does not reach the inside of the ortodoksisuu, but it's great to have access to the external elements. Maybe I would have longed to hear Orthodox music, which I heard in the old Valamossa a few years ago. The food was good, home-cooked food and a guided tour of a great, also a wine factory. The beds had a good sleep. Interesting art selling exhibition. A beautiful and peaceful environment is a busy modern man the soul "manna" and give you the opportunity to "stop". An active-this is in the cemetery the cemetery should be! The tomb of ahomansikat and kielot! Ball-point pens Pentti Tomb-share, the idea to the implementation a bit controversial, I understand, and in a strange place. Is there a right to be outside the tomb of this God? You should take the valaam monastery trip for a number of reasons.show original
