  • Unfortunately, the basic values of the strangers are not available. And here are the albums of drawings, manuscripts, books, documents from the 16 to the 21 century! The archive, which the monks were able to pull on the ice of the Ladoga Lake. Both icons directly shine. See the back side with the face of Christ the Savior cannot have to transgress the sanctuary, and so without the blessing of sin. now it's rather complex. Gorgeous bakes buns local monk-Baker. Interesting to try Finnish wine kryzhovennoe ☺

  • I have more than once wrote, if you are interested in the history of the havinasta, religious items, and a little bit of power to share with a different activity. Then again, this is a worth place to be! Visit us, check out the place with an open hand. I have visited more than once, a little bit of a change in the direction of the place has become more commercial. The monastery is probably due to the continuation of the operation of the force.

  • Cool place to stop by and good dessert wine.
  • Good things to do and wine to buy too.
  • The last time I visited in the 1980s. The change is really huge. By harmoniously and arkitehtonisesti the beautiful buildings, which also agreed to the spirit of the Orthodox monastery, the splendid furniture followed the same line. And those beautiful well-kept garden areas and with great old trees and pihtakujat (?), especially in the cemetery! The surface of the sipaisulla does not reach the inside of the ortodoksisuu, but it's great to have access to the external elements. Maybe I would have longed to hear Orthodox music, which I heard in the old Valamossa a few years ago. The food was good, home-cooked food and a guided tour of a great, also a wine factory. The beds had a good sleep. Interesting art selling exhibition. A beautiful and peaceful environment is a busy modern man the soul "manna" and give you the opportunity to "stop". An active-this is in the cemetery the cemetery should be! The tomb of ahomansikat and kielot! Ball-point pens Pentti Tomb-share, the idea to the implementation a bit controversial, I understand, and in a strange place. Is there a right to be outside the tomb of this God? You should take the valaam monastery trip for a number of reasons.

  • I have visited with the family and a souvenir of the evening could not be välttäytyä!! I highly recommend to anyone who loves chocolate and a small tilpehööriä:) Accommodation is very comfortable and relaxed. Lunch is definitely the best thing about it! Welcome to the Valaam monastery.

  • I was on a three-day seminar in April after Easter. The seminar room is bright and spacious and modern equipment lectures. I lived in. The least expensive option. Neat and modest. Paukuttelu doors and upstairs to the sounds of the night a little bit. VC and shower in the corridor. Accommodation options on many levels. The food was really good. People are calm and friendly. Nightly, the monastery was a touchingly beautiful. I was the first time the Orthodox Sunday morning liturgiassa. I felt so tyyneeksi and I really enjoyed the opportunity. Beautiful icons of the rituaaleineen and the monks in the State you live in and rituaallit, very beautiful and calming. I am satisfied and happy that I was able to visit it
