Tavoro Waterfalls, Taveuni Island

Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 120 reviews on the web
Marvel at the three beautiful falls of Tavoro Waterfalls in Bouma National Heritage Park. Visitors must trek three increasingly difficult trails to reach each falls. One obstacle includes jumping from boulder to boulder across a river, with only a rope to balance. As you climb, keep an eye out for viewpoints with stunning panoramic views. Cool off in any of the volcanic pools beneath the waterfalls, and take snorkeling gear to see hundreds of prawns in the water. Try to avoid visiting during or soon after rainfall, as the trail becomes muddy and slippery.
