Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, Sigatoka

(4.3/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Wander the tall sand dunes at Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, Fiji's first national park since 1989 and a popular recreational attraction for tourists and locals. A guided tour will educate you on the park's ecosystem and surprisingly rich history. Visit an archeological site to witness ancient Lapita artifacts like pottery and one of the largest burial sites in the Pacific. Animal-lovers may want to also visit the dry forest and spend time birdwatching. Take lots of sunscreen, bug repellant, water, and thick-soled shoes to protect your feet from hot sand. Take a look at our Sigatoka vacation planner to schedule your visit to Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
