Kepirohi Waterfall, Pohnpei
(4.8/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web)
Make a splash at Kepirohi Waterfall, one of Micronesia's best-known waterfalls. The 20 m (66 ft) high fall drops into a lake, a huge draw for both local and visiting swimmers and picnickers. Follow a stone path from the main road to reach this hidden gem, and look for colorful tropical flowers along the way. Once there, you can cool off and retreat from the heat and humidity of the jungle by jumping into the pool below. This waterfall sits within a private estate, so don't forget to bring some cash to pay the small fee collected by the landowner. • Short hike to waterfall, walkway lined with beautiful vegetation and is configured nicely. Nice swim, awesome photos and most serene place I've ever been to. Fee to land owners is about $5. Loved this...  more »
  • A great stop on the way to or from Nan Madol. A very short walk to a tranquil waterfall. Very pretty. Great photo op. It costs a few dollars to enter as it seems like the walk is through private land.
  • A nice place to hang out with ur friends. Quiet and peaceful. But u need to be careful though near the bottom of the waterfalls. The rocks are pretty slippery

  • Great place to visit in Pohnpei. It is soooo fresh! I suggest for the trip before go to Kepirohi, visit Nan Madohl first. From the salty water then rinse it with fresh water. Fresh!
  • This waterfall is a good place to stop after visiting Nan Madol. It's right off the main road and costs $3 per person. The walk up to the waterfall is very beautiful with lots of different colored plants and flowers. Part of the trail becomes stoney and muddy so you will want good shoes. The waterfall has a cement terrace with a bench that is great for relaxing by the large waterfall but you will want to hope you have it to yourself. The water is deep enough for swimming or wading.
