  • The Cathedral is undergoing restoration, which must prevent further decomposition. much of the walls is under the tent where work. Incredible to see how degraded the reliefs of the weather is. The "old" Cathedral is an experience. You walk a few steps down at the entrance to the Church, and thus really get the feel of the medieval church. Alter image of the Faroe Islands ' first great painter: Mikiness! Church door is decorated with glass art by Laex216 Paturson, who lives in the city. You can visit him if you call first. His family has operated the farm in the village of 17 generations!
