  • Kalsoy is one of the most interesting and intriguing of islands in the Faroese archipelago. Already its original shape-a long and narrow Island looks like a flute. In addition, it is the island with the highest number of tunnels-there are 4.5. So, not przesłyszeliście! This half is an offshoot of the last tunnel, built solely to one farmer can get to your plot. The attraction of the last years is a monument to the women of seals (Kópakonan) of Mikladalur. To see it you should go to the bottom of the former. A beautiful trip is also a trip to the cult already lararni Kallur North from Trollanes. Returning to the return ferry to Klaksvik, visit the charming church in Husar. Kalsoy is an ideal island for half-day trip. Note: in summer, the ferry connecting Klaksvik of Kalsoy is bursting at the seams, so well set in the queue for the ferry at least 1 h before departure, especially that advance booking is not possible.

  • The hike from trollandes out to the lighthouse (30 min briskly paced with good condition) took us out to one of the most beautiful views I've seen-and then after having already spent about 1 v on the Faroe Islands. The glorious sunshine did of course seating (mind you that the weather in klaksvik was overcast at departure!). Can certainly recommended!
