Christ Church Cathedral, Stanley
(4.1/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Visit Christ Church Cathedral, the southernmost Anglican cathedral in the world and one of the most architecturally impressive buildings in the Falklands. Pay special attention to the cathedral's intricate, colorful stained glass windows, as well as the large wooden chancel. Looming trees obscure the church from the front, though their preservation is a priority for environmentally-minded Falklanders. Head inside to read numerous plaques written in English, remembers the battles of 1982 fought between British and Argentinian forces. Arrange your visit to Christ Church Cathedral and discover more family-friendly attractions in Stanley using our Stanley vacation route planner.

  • It seems a nice place. Politics comments are offensives. I' am argentinian but I think the problems are in our goverments. A piece of this gratefull land can' t value only a drop of blood of nobody, Britains or Argentinian... Please, we have to live in peace!!! The wars are a horror in all the world. Thanks a lot.
  • This is a beautiful church. Recommend you pop in and check it out if you're in town.
  • Argentina lost the war, so Argentina loses the lands. That's the way of the world. What were you expecting, Argentina? To get stomped out by an aging empire and get to keep the islands? That's stupid. You ought to invite Top Gear back and apologize for being petulant little kids.
  • A nice place to get out of the cold and reflect on the history of the place
