  • The military museum is located at the entrance to the viimsi parish, beautiful and a great Park. After 1920 and 40 year manor belonged to the Jóhanu Lájdoneru, as the Commander in the liberation war. A very interesting personality of the Tsarist Army Colonel, military officer, received a military education in Russia, was awarded the highest Royal honors and George weapons. In December 1924 years oversaw the Suppression of the rebellion, prepared by the Communists. Well, beyond the events of 1940 years. Very interesting, that in ancient times, the territory of the manor belonged to the Piritaskomu monastery. Else take a look at the photo.

  • General Johan Laidoner is portrayed in the Museum. It is overpriced and the "half-staircase" to look down at the floor when you walk! In addition to the portraits from the war of independence, has saved the arms-tools-tableware-lamps and much more on display in showcases. The second world war seems still in terms of saved materials, be the main theme of this museum. 300 metres at a height beyond the Museum is a large hall, where to store vehicles-tanks-artillery pieces and the latest from UN contingents, which Estonians participated! Much to behold! For military stakeholders, it is a rewarding visit!
